General Rules

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS

1. Please co-operate with the school in ensuring effective education for your children. This can be done by:

  • Providing facilities of studies at home.
  • Providing text books, note books and other requirements of your ward.
  • Assisting and guiding in doing homework.
  • Assisting your ward in removing his/her deficiency in particular subjects.
  • Depositing fees as per rules.
  • Providing proper school uniform.

2. Please look into your ward’s School Diary & Academic Calendar frequently and also see to it that the assigned homework is regular. 3. Please check and countersign the remarks made in the school calendar regularly. 4. If you feel or notice that your ward is not making the desired progress, kindly meet the Principal/Headmaster or teacher in charge of the subject. 5. Please don’t send your ward in school when they are having infectious disease and inform accordingly. 6. Ensure that your ward is escorted safely to school and back home. 7. Always send leave application in respect of your ward addressed to the Principal/Headmaster through Class Teacher prior to the absence of your ward - duly attested by you. 8. See that your ward completes and deposits project and homework in time.

DISCIPLINE

1. All should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The School Uniform is to be worn on all class days. A student who is slovenly dressed may be excluded from the classroom or even sent home. 2. Any kind of damage to property whether of the School or its inmates must be made good. 3. Parents and Guardians should not visit their ward or their teacher in the class room without the permission of the Principal.

Fee Payment

1. All tuition fees must be paid before 20 of every month. 2. Those who pay fees later than 20 of the month will have to pay a late fine of Rs. 10/- and after two months re-admission fee will be charged. 3. Fees will be received from 8:00 to 12:00 noon on working days.

PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

1. Parents Teachers Association (PTA) meeting is described as “OPEN DAY”. Your visit to the school on open day will be very useful to your ward whatever his/her level may be bright, average or weak. The date for open day is the last working day of a month. 2. Parents can see the teacher/their wards through the principal only. They are requested not to go directly to their class for admission, depositing fees, transfer certificate, security and other allied problems and should report to the Principal Office.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school helps each child to develop his/her capabilities & in born talents to the fullest. Co-curricular activities are indispensable part of the school life.

HOUSE SYSTEM

1. The house system occupies a prominent position in the field of co-curricular activities which are organized in healthy and competition spirit. Each student is allotted a particular house at the time of admission and he/she stay in the house. It helps the students to inculcate discipline, democratic leadership, loyalty and belongingness to the institute. 2. The School is presently divided into four houses. (a) Gandhi House (b) Tagore House (c) Nehru House (d) Subhash House
